The past few years we (the grown up) have played a large part of what goes in to the garden who plants and general maitenance of the garden.

My daughter are 5 and 7 and we let them go for it this year! they planted lettuce, snow peas, cucumbers and tomatoes. Although the dog hada lovely time in the blood and bone mixed soil and the plants are no longer in the neat little rows in which they were arranged!

The joy on there faces as the were digging in the garden with their little garden set was priceless - It's the little and not so dear thing I will remember most when they have grown up!
