My front yard is a scorcher all summer and we have added a lot of shade in the back. I don't have a single veggie patch, but smaller patches here and there where my favorites will grow best. One of my sisters uses her front yard because the back is entirely in the shade of a neighbour's trees. I guess the determined gardener will always find a spot or two for some home grown veggies.

When doing water changes on fishtanks, (not saltwater);, use this on your pot plants on foliage and roots. It feeds them and keeps them green.

Palmetto

Palmetto Soft Leaf Buffalo is ideally suited as a lawn in many applications.
