A favourite up side of a small patch is some veggies are so beautiful to watch growing that I almost forget they are food and enjoy having them where I can see them best.

I live in a park with relocatable homes. Naturally the space around the houses is at a minimum but I replaced the grass at the back with a raised garden. I try growing as much as I can vertically to maximise space. Garden arches are great for this! In September, when I plant my snake beans, I can get a good crop of lettuce between the sides of the arch before the beans block out to much sun.
